New York-based private equity company Apollo Global Management LLC is holding discussions to buy UK plastic products design and engineering company RPC Group PLC.
The transaction, expected to cost over $3.8 billion, could be announced as soon as Tuesday.
In August 2018, Apollo Global Management acquired Bermuda-based insurance and reinsurance company Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited for $2.6 billion.
And in July 2018, the company, which in 2017 secured $24.56 billion for its buyout fund, purchased U.S. healthcare company LifePoint Health for $5.5 billion.
