Aterian, a U.S.-based company specializing in African mineral resources, has announced the issuance of 500,000 pounds ($628,845) through convertible loan notes. The funding aims to accelerate exploration endeavors across the continent, particularly in Morocco, where Aterian intends to bolster its drilling program in Agdz. Additionally, the funding will support operations in Rwanda and Botswana.

Aterian currently manages a portfolio of 17 projects in Morocco, targeting copper, silver, and base metals. The company's focus on exploration reflects the growing global demand for these resources, driven by electrification and renewable energy production.
