Bain Capital Private Equity, a unit of U.S.-based private equity firm Bain Capital, has increased its bid by 14.7 percent for Japanese printing services firm Kosaido.

Bain Capital Private Equity revised its bid from $5.48 per share to $6.29 for the total 24.9 million shares of Kosaido.

The transaction is valuing Kosaido at approximately $157 million.

The deal will be implemented via Bain Capital’s unit, KK BCJ-34, and will get at least 90 percent of the total voting rights of Kosaido.
