U.S. Bain Capital Ventures secures $1 bln for its new VC funds

California-based Bain Capital Ventures, a venture capital division within private investment firm Bain Capital, has secured $1 billion for its latest venture capital (VC) funds.

Bain Capital Ventures has raised a total of $4.2 billion across 10 funds.

The company’s latest being Bain Capital Flagship Fund VIII has raised a total of $650 million.

Bain Capital Ventures has made 321 investments. Recently, the company invested $2 million in U.S. software enterprise solutions provider Idelic.
