U.S.-based packaged bakery foods producer Flowers Foods has agreed to acquire bread products company Canyon Bakehouse for about $205 million.
Flowers Foods expects to leverage its distribution network and retail partnerships to drive growth by bringing Canyon Bakehouse products to more consumers across the country.
After the transaction, Canyon Bakehouse will continue to lead the business.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2018.
