U.S.-based hospitality management company BC Lynd Hospitality is expecting to inaugurate $25 million Hilton Garden Inn in Texas, which will be attached to the city’s convention centre.

BC Lynd said that it is building the 150-room, five-story hotel while the city funds construction of its $17.6 million convention centre, which will be completed on March 6.

BC Lynd intends to complete the sale of $32 million in bonds to finance the hotel’s construction. Arizona Industrial Development Authority is issuing $32 million in tax-exempt revenue bonds to support the project.

The hotel is expected to break ground about the same time as the convention centre. BC Lynd will operate, manage and staff the convention centre with the city.
