U.S. consumer-driven healthcare company Bright Health has raised $160 million in a Series B funding round led by private venture capital firm Greenspring Associates and joined by peers Greycroft Partners, Redpoint Ventures, and Cross Creek Advisors.

Bright Health will use the funding to fuel growth and support its mission to transform the healthcare system through its Care Partnership model.

The company said that its committed to offering affordable and higher quality healthcare to individuals and their families. It also said that the leading health systems across the country are developing new models to transform the healthcare market in local communities and collaborates with them to create a proprietary Care Partnership.

On April 6, 2016, Bright Health, secured $80m in Series A funding. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners and New Enterprise Associates, with participation from Flare Capital Partners and others.
