CareStack, a U.S. cloud-based dental practice management software startup, revealed that it has collected $28 million in its Series B funding round.

Led by Steadview Capital, the funding also had participation from Delta Dental's California-based unit, and existing backers, F Prime Capital, Eight Roads Ventures as well as Accel Partners.

CareStack said that it intends to leverage the new capital for automation and to expand in firms which have dental practices in multiple locations.

Previously, the startup has received $16 million in its Series A financing round from Eight Roads, the venture capital arm of Fidelity Investments, and Accel, among others.
