U.S. Check-Mate to invest over $15 mln in HQ expansion, create jobs

U.S.-based Check-Mate Industries, a producer of rifle magazines and surgical tools, announced plans to extend its headquarters (HQ) to Thomasville, North Carolina creating new jobs.

Check-Mate Industries will invest over $15 million in renovations of the building and equipment.

The company will move all its operations to the Caterpillar building by the first of 2019.

With the new facility, Check-Mate will commence the hiring process by this summer and start with 230 employees.
