U.S.-based real estate investment firm CIM Group and peer Golub & Co. have acquired Michigan office tower from another joint venture, the Tribune Tower Redevelopment.

German property developer GLL Real Estate Partners sold its office property, a 36-story 444 North located directly across the Magnificent Mile for $138 million to the two firms.

The office building is now occupied by a diverse set of tenants from technology, media, healthcare, law, real estate and professional services.

In September 2016, Tribune Tower acquired the properties for about $240 million from U.S.-based media to entertainment company Tribune Media Co.
