U.S. healthcare services provider CoxHealth plans to build a $42 million hospital in Monett, Missouri; which will replace its current facility.

When complete, the hospital is expected to offer an enhanced Emergency Department, multiple operating rooms, and an attached office building that will house physician clinics, 40 exam rooms and a cardiac rehab facility.

The move is part of CoxHealth's efforts to ensure that populations in rural areas have access to the health care they need, especially in critical situations.

The project is expected to complete within two years.
