U.S. integrated filtration company Donaldson has agreed to acquire 88 percent of UK-based fume and dust extraction systems manufacturer BOFA International for approximately 79 million pounds ($102.6 million).
Donaldson plans to further accelerate BOFA’s global growth and add additional filtration technology to BOFA’s products.
The acquisition of BOFA aligns well with Donaldson’s strategy by growing the company's industrial air filtration business and diversifying it through technology-led filtration solutions.
BOFA expects to generate sales of approximately $40 million in its current fiscal year. Donaldson expects to close the transaction during the first quarter of fiscal 2019.
