U.S. video game and software development company Epic Games is investing $100 million through its new investment program to help other game developers create games.

The programme, called Epic MegaGrants, will invest in game developers, media creators of any kind, students, teachers as well as tool developers.

Individual investments will be anywhere from $5,000 to $500,000. The company is seeking to infuse in teams including game developers using Unreal Engine 4, and those seeking to move existing projects into the engine.

Epic Games is also looking for those making films or television with Unreal Engine 4, as well as those who wish to port software tools into Unreal Engine, or advancements for existing open-source projects related to three-dimensional graphics.
