U.S. real estate investment trust Silverstein Properties Inc. and rival Arden Group partnership plan to acquire BNY MellonCenter, an office tower at 1735 Market St, in Philadelphia.
The partnership, Silverstein/Arden 1735 Market Holdco LP, signed a deal with U.S.-based real estate company Equity Commonwealth for the 1.3 million square foot tower.
The BNY Mellon Center will be acquired for approximately $451.6 million.
The partnership said that the deal will be closing later this year.
