U.S.-based FEG Private Investors LLC, an affiliate of investment firm Fund Evaluation Group LLC, has completed the final close of its fourth private equity (PE) fund.
The new fund, FEG Private Opportunities Fund IV LP, secured $165 million in capital commitments, overreaching its initial target of $150 million.
The investments came from a diversified group of limited partners including foundations, endowments, pension plans, religious institutions, educational institutions, and other investors.
In 2017, FEG closed its third fund at $195 million whereas the second fund closed in 2015 with $227 million in commitments.
