U.S. thermal imaging cameras manufacturer FLIR Systems Inc. has agreed to purchase Endeavor Robotic Holdings Inc., a ground robot company and supplier of battle-hardened unmanned ground vehicles, for $385 million in cash.
FLIR Systems said that along with the recent acquisition of Aeryon Labs, the latest move has significantly extended its unmanned systems capabilities.
The company added that the purchase aligns with its evolution from sensors to intelligent sensing and ultimately solutions that save lives and livelihoods.
Following the wrap up of the deal, Endeavor will be part of the FLIR Government and Defense Business Unit’s Unmanned Systems and Integrated Solutions division.
