U.S.-based venture capital firm GGV Capital has sought to raise some $1.88 billion across seven funds.
The funds include; GGV Capital VII, GGV Capital VII-A, GGV Capital VII Plus, GGV Capital VII-A Plus, GGV Discovery II, GGV Discovery II-A, and GGV Capital VII Entrepreneurs Fund.
The latest fundraising amount is $600 million more than the $1.2 billion raised in April 2016.
Recently, GGV Capital has backed New York-based human resource platform Namely’s $6-million Series E, Chinese online education startup Zuoyebang’s $350-million Series D, and online reading platform Koala Reading’s $20-million Series B.
