U.S.-based technology major Google has acquired U.S. Bebop, a new development platform that makes it easy to build and maintain enterprise applications, for $380 million.
Google said that Bebop will help many more businesses to find great applications and to reap the benefits of cloud computing.
Cloud is strategically important to Google to compete with market leader Amazon Web Services.
On January 26, 2014, Google acquired British artificial intelligence company DeepMind Technologies.
