U.S. Gray TV gets nod to acquire Raycom Media in $3.5 bln deal

Atlanta-based television (TV) broadcasting company Gray TV Inc has received the nod to acquire rival Raycom Media Inc.

Gray Television Inc. received approval for the deal from the Federal Communications Commission.

Under the deal, Gray TV bid $3.5 billion for Raycom Media.

In 2017, the company booked $882.7 million in revenue.
