U.S. Greenspring secures $999 mln for ninth venture capital fund

U.S. venture capital firm Greenspring Associates has secured $999 million for its ninth global diversified venture capital fund, Greenspring Global Partners IX LP.

The vehicle included participation from existing backers and new limited partners.

Greenspring Global Partners IX will invest in established and developing international venture capital funds and the rest for direct commitments in communications, information technology and healthcare companies.

Furthermore, the vehicle will focus on secondary interests in funds and companies.
