U.S. GTIS buys $39.3 mln stake in Brazil’s L.A. Fundo de Investimento

U.S. real estate investment firm GTIS Partners LP has bought a 30.52 percent interest in Brazilian investment firm L.A. Fundo de Investimento em Participações Multiestratégia.

GTIS Partners acquired that stake in L.A. Fundo de Investimento for $39.3 million.

L.A. Fundo de Investimento owned 100 percent shares in Brazilian tourism-oriented real estate properties developer BHG SA prior to the stake sale.

Following the transaction, GTIS Partners consolidated itself as the indirect owner of 100 percent of BHG.
