American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson Inc. announced that the company aims to infuse $75 million in its Wisconsin operations.

The company will invest $65 million in its Pilgrim Road powertrain facility and will commit extra $10 million in its Tomahawk plastic part and paint facility.

The company said in a statement that the investments reflect the company's commitment to long-term projects globally.

Last month, Harley-Davidson acquired StaCyc Inc., producer of the 12 and 16 EDRIVE, electric-powered two-wheelers specifically designed for kids.
