HashiCorp, a U.S.-based cloud infrastructure automation solutions provider, raised $100 million in Series D funding round.

The latest funding round brings HashiCorp’s valuation at $1.9 billion and total funding raised to date to $174 million.

HashiCorp intends to use the funds to focus on its open source and commercial product development, hiring in global go-to-market functions, customer success, support, and training efforts for its worldwide customer base.

The round was led by new investor U.S.-based private equity firm Institutional Venture Partners, with participation from peers Bessemer Venture Partners and existing investors GGV Capital, Mayfield, Redpoint Ventures, and True Ventures.
