U.S. HCA Healthcare acquires $52.5 mln land in Florida for hospital construction

U.S.-based healthcare company HCA Healthcare has acquired nearly 100 acres of land in Estero, Florida for $52.5 million.

HCA Healthcare bought the land for a planned 80-bed hospital in Estero that was approved by the state regulators.

The acquired land consists of the headquarters of car rental company Hertz Global, subsidiary of rival Hertz Global Inc.

In 2016, HCA Healthcare generated $41.5 billion in revenue.
