HumanForest, a UK-based electric bike-sharing startup, has secured 12 million pounds ($15.1 million) in a Series A financing round.

The debt and equity round, which has brought the startup's total funding raised so far to $23.4 million, was backed by Triodos Bank UK, family offices and angel investors.

HumanForest is planning to use the capital raised from the round to back its fleet expansion and further development of its advertising platform, and a recently launched user application.

Moreso, the fundraising has accelerated the company's expansion, conveying affordable and sustainable mobility to even additional Londoners, whilst enhancing its capital-efficient approach to growth.
