U.S. automotive parts supplier Hwashin America Corp. is expanding its Greenville operations, spending $26 million and expecting to hire another 50 workers.

The expansion is projected to increase property tax revenue to the Butler County School System by more than $500,000 over 10 years.

To facilitate the company’s latest expansion, the Greenville City Council granted statutory tax abatements.

The expansion is projected to boost payroll by $1 million.
