U.S.-based trucking and transportation company J.B. Hunt Transport Services has agreed to acquire home delivery services provider Cory 1st Choice Home Delivery, part of rival Cory Companies.
Under the terms of the pact, J.B. Hunt will pay about $100 million for Cory 1st Choice Home Delivery.
With this acquisition, J.B. Hunt will expand its final-mile operation in 100 locations with over 3.1 million square feet of warehouse and facilities space.
In 2017, J.B. Hunt also bought Houston-based Special Logistics Dedicated LLC for $136 million, the deal which expanded its pool distribution and fulfillment delivery capabilities.
