New York-based financial services company KKR plans to sell a majority stake in Netherland-based alternative telecom provider United Group BV to U.K-based private equity firm BC Partners.

KKR will retain a minority stake in the company. The deal would value United Group at about 2.60 billion euros ($3.04 billion).

BC Partners will pay for the deal from its $8 billion flagship fund, which it raised earlier this year.

On September 25, 2018, KKR acquired hospital management company HeTian.
