U.S. home health care services company LHC Group plans to extend its headquarters (HQ) in Lafayette, Louisiana, with a $46 million investment.
The extension project, expected to create 500 new jobs, will add 204,000 square feet of new office space, tripling the size of the current home office.
The building on the initial phase will start immediately and is anticipated to be finalized by the end of 2020.
The second stage will build out two reserve-expansion floors, providing enough space for additional employees in the future. About 400 temporary construction jobs will be created as the extension gets underway.
