U.S.-based social entertainment startup The Meet Group, part of Quepasa, has purchased dating application Growlr for $13.8 million.

Under the pact, Meet paid about $11.8 million with $4 million in cash, $7 million from its bankers and pledged $2 million more over the next two years.

With the deal, Meet Group expects to raise its sales to at least $210 million this year.

In September 2017, Meet Group also acquired German dating application Lovoo for $70 million.
