U.S. chemical products manufacturer MGC Pure Chemicals America, Inc., a unit of Japanese chemicals to real estate company Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, intends to inject additional $12 million in its manufacturing plant in the Killeen business park in Texas.
The initial stage of the facility, which will create about 30 jobs, will start to process and purify hydrogen peroxide early next year.
The second stage will purify ammonium hydroxide, which is also used in the semiconductor industry.
To attract MGC Pure, Killeen Economic Development Corporation offered its almost $2 million in incentives that included the land in the business park.
