U.S.-based computer software company Mojo Vision has fetched over $50 million in a funding round.

With the capital raised, Mojo Vision expects to develop the underlying technology needed to deliver a new form of augmented reality platform, allowing the display of information without a headset or phone.

The round was backed by U.S.-based venture capital-backed solar cell company Solar Junction.

Mojo Vision has raised a total of $50 million in funding over one round.
