U.S.-based Movius, a cloud-based secure mobile communications software company, has raised $45 million in a Series D funding round.

The round, which brings Movius’ total equity secured to $91 million, was led by new backer U.S. investment bank JPMorgan Chase & Co. with participation from existing backers PointGuard Ventures, New Enterprise Associates and Anschutz Investment Co.

Movius plans to use the funds to support a variety of initiatives as it drives international expansion, particularly in Europe and Asia.

Additionally, the company will also use the money raised to accelerate its product roadmap and scale to meet the mobility needs of businesses for compliance, cost-savings and customer engagement.
