Muncie Power Products Inc., the U.S. power take-offs and hydraulic systems unit of Italian water pumps maker Interpump Group, plans to infuse about $50 million in a new facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Muncie Power said that the new facility will better serve its customers and support market demand while also providing the best possible working conditions for all its employees.
The company also received $10 million for site development from Vision Tulsa and the park's land from George Kaiser Family Foundation to support the project.
The facility, situated at the Peoria-Mohawk Business Park, will be a relocation of current local operations for Muncie Power and create jobs for people in the region.
