U.S. food distributor Nash Finch is seeking to acquire five grocery stores of chain operator Gordy’s Market Inc. for a total of $15.1 million.

Nash Finch made a credit bid to buy the stores. The five stores were divested together in one lot.

As part of its credit bid, Nash Finch has agreed to release its lien in the Gordy’s Market assets and consents to the sale of the assets.

The five stores that were included in the sale were downtown Chippewa Falls and on Lake Wissota, Cornell, Barron and Chetek.
