California-based Arrcus, a software-defined networking platform, has completed with $30 million in a Series B round of funding.

Led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, the funding also had participation from previous investors including General Catalyst and Clear Ventures.

In conjunction with the funding round, which brings the total equity raised to date by Arrcus to $49 million, Lightspeed joined Arrcus' board of directors.

Arrcus plans to use the net proceeds from the funding to extend its operations to support its customer base, scale strategic partnerships, and expand the reach of its independent network operating system, ArcOS.
