U.S. television broadcasting company Nexstar Media Group is selling 19 television stations for $1.32 billion.

Of the 19 stations, 11 are being bought by U.S. broadcast, digital media and marketing services company Tegna Inc. for $740 million.

Whereas the other eight stations are being acquired by U.S. broadcasting company E.W. Scripps Co. for $580 million.

The divestment will clear the way for Nexstar’s purchase of Tribune Media. Three months ago, Nexstar agreed to acquire Tribune Media for approximately $4 billion.
