U.S.-based online real estate platform Knock has completed a $400 million Series B financing.

Led by Foundry Group, the round also had participation from existing backers including RRE Ventures, Corazon Capital, WTI, FJ Labs, and new investor Company Ventures, bringing total funding by Knock to $600 million.

Knock will use the net proceeds for expansion plans and accelerate the development of the proprietary technology behind its unique Home Trade-in platform.

Further, the startup will buy more new homes on its customers' behalf before representing them in the sale of old ones on the open market using the funds.
