U.S. Rock River Capital Partners secures $23.5 mln for first VC fund

U.S. Rock River Capital Partners has secured $23.5 million for its first venture capital (VC) fund.

Rock River Capital Partners expects to inject the funds in 12 to 15 Wisconsin companies.

The company is now working on a list of 10 potential investments and plans to complete a syndicated investment later this week on the first one.

About 50 investors contributed to the fund, some from Texas and London. The company expects to invest $23.5 million in four to five years.
