Chicago-based Clearcover, a smart car insurance company, has secured $43 million in funding.
Clearcover intends to use the funds to extend its auto insurance business in Illinois and other states.
The funding round was led by U.S. communications and automotive services company Cox Enterprises with participation from Lightbank, Hyde Park Angels and American Family Ventures.
To date, Clearcover has bagged a total of $54.5 million in funding.
