California-based software development company Niantic is nearing to seal a $200 million funding round.
The commitment is expected to come from U.S.-based private equity investment firm Institutional Venture Partners alongside other strategic backers including Samsung and aXiomatic Gaming.
The funding round is predicted to value Niantic at $3.9 billion.
Niantic has raised a total of $425 million in over 4 funding rounds.
