U.S. Spirit Aerosystems gets nod to buy Belgium’s Asco in $650 mln deal

U.S. first-tier aerostructures manufacturer Spirit AeroSystems has got a green light to acquire Belgium-based Asco Industries, a high lift devices, complex mechanical assemblies and functional components manufacturer.

Spirit, which got approval from the European Union, will purchase the company in a $650 million transaction.

Annually, ASCO Industries generates around $300 million in revenue.

Whereas, Spirit Aerosystems generates approximately $7.2 billion in revenue annually.
