U.S.-based technology major Google, a unit of internet to technology company Alphabet Inc., has purchased question and answer mobile application (Q&A app) developer Superpod.

The acquisition will help bolster Google Assistant’s ability to accurately answer users’ questions.

Google paid close to $60 million to hire Superpod’s founders and buy some of its assets.

In December 2018, Google acquired U.S. digital transformation research firm DevOps Research and Assessment.
