U.S.-based technology giant Google, part of Alphabet Inc., will inject around $13 billion in data centres across the U.S. throughout 2019.

Google intends to boost more than 10,000 new construction jobs in Nebraska, Nevada, Ohio, Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Google said that it expects to have locations in 24 states, including data centres in 13 communities using the infusion.

Further, Google is also making significant renewable energy investments with the expansion.
