New York-based fresh and personalized dog food company The Farmer’s Dog has nabbed a $39 million in Series B funding round.

The round was conducted by U.S. Insight Venture Partners, with participation from previous investors Shasta Ventures and Forerunner Ventures.

The Farmer’s Dog now has a total of $49 million in funding.

On May 18, 2017, The Farmer’s Dog closed an $8.1 million funding round led by early-stage venture capital investment firm Shasta Ventures.
