U.S. package delivery and supply chain management company United Parcel Service has acquired properties in Shrewsbury and Grafton, western England, for $18.3 million as it considers whether to construct a $200 million distribution facility in the area.
The properties acquired include 12 Centennial Drive in Grafton and Shrewsbury, 74 Centech Blvd. in Grafton and Shrewsbury.
The company also acquired 46R Clews Street and 414-428 Cherry Street in Shrewsbury, and 105 Rear Westboro Road, 105 Westboro Road and 36 Rear Nelson Street, all in Grafton.
United Parcel acquired the properties, covering about 226 acres of undeveloped land, from three different entities.
