U.S. VCU Health System to construct $16 mln facility in New Kent County

U.S. healthcare services provider VCU Health System plans to construct a $16 million emergency center in New Kent County, Virginia.

The facility, to be located at 2495 Pocahontas Trail in Quinton, will offer 24-hour emergency care, including doctors, nurses, laboratory services, computerized tomography scan, X-rays and ultrasounds.

Construction on the 17,000 square foot facility is expected to start next month.

The emergency center is scheduled to open in the spring of 2020.
