U.S. Vicarious Surgical secures additional $10 million in funding

Massachusetts-based Vicarious Surgical, a surgical robotics and virtual reality company, has completed a $10 million round of additional funding.

The round was led by a previous backer, Gates Frontier, joined with repeat commitments from Khosla Ventures, Innovation Endeavors and AME Cloud Ventures.

Vicarious Surgical intends to use the funds to back the next phase of its growth and drive the development of a commercial product.

Vicarious Surgical has bagged a total of $20 million in over three funding rounds.
