California-based mass media and entertainment major Walt Disney Company has announced a $157 million investment in digital media and broadcasting company Vice Media.

Following the investment, around a quarter of Vice's 12 digital brands will be folded into other verticals. 

In 2015, Disney invested $400 million in Vice in 2015.

In February, Walt Disney announced a 2 billion euro ($2.47 billion) investment drive to expand its French theme park Disneyland Paris.
