U.S. private equity firm Warren Equity Partners Manager LP has held the final completion of its private equity investment fund at its $310 million hard capitalization.

The vehicle, Warren Equity Partners Fund II, L.P. and Warren Equity Partners Fund II-A, L.P., collectively, WEP II, included investments from new and returning backers including university endowments, pension funds, fund of funds, private foundations and family offices.

Warren Equity said that WEP II will continue to infuse in businesses where the company can have a fundamental understanding of the underlying markets served and can influence its experience and resources to drive value for Warren’s backers and portfolio companies.

The company focuses on companies with under $150 million of total enterprise value, ranging from smaller add-on purchases to larger platform commitments. WEP II has so far completed four platform investments, accounting for over one-third of its committed capital.
